Brianna Lacey is missing. The Chicago police are treating it as a runaway situation, but no one knows that for sure.

If you have seen her, please help her family find her. Thank you.

Today, I stayed an extra 2.5 hours at work, took two overflowing hampers to the laundromat, went grocery shopping, baked a pie, and made eggnog for about eleventeen people. (This is why the rum is always gone.)

And yes, I just took the damn pie out of the oven at 2am.

I think I'm broken.

My last final ended at around 3pm yesterday. Since then, I've washed my walls, patched the umpteen nail holes (I pulled seventeen nails from a 7x12 room, and there were even more holes from previous nails), caulked around the window, door, and baseboards, baked cookies, started a newsletter, caught up on half a season of old Doctor Who episodes, and beat up on some MP4 files a bit. And I'm about to go see if the patches are dry enough to sand...there were some pretty damn deep holes in the janky-ass baseboards.

Stupid roommate went out last night, and was ringing the damned doorbell at 3am. She was so smashed that she didn't even remember it. This morning, I asked her if she'd lost her keys again, and she had to ask her friend if she had. She left me a ridiculous apology note, saying that she's "punishing" herself by not going out drinking until after her birthday (which is sometime before xmas). Great, so she'll just be sitting around spilling wine and stumbling around breaking shit at home. Fab.

*deep breath while I avoid a mile-long rant about Princess Drunkndumb*

There are many things going on, which I may or may not participate in! Definitely going to see The Princess and the Frog this weekend, and there's a party later that night. Other graduation and birthday parties, Meetups of unknown quantity or quality, and my sister is (hopefully) bringing the kids down for a few days. We're gonna go see Santa and the ZooLights and try to get to the aquarium and maybe even go see the Red Wings/Blackhawks game on the 20th if we can find a sitter and some under-$85 tickets. I'm seriously debating the wisdom of just going ahead and finding someone (???) to watch the kids for a few hours and waiting in the United Center parking lot to see what we find. (And try not to get punched for wearing Red Wings gear.) Even if nothing comes of it but frozen noses, we can still go find a bar that's showing the game and chill...she needs a few kid-free hours every once in a while.

GAH! CAN'T QUIT DOING ELEVENTY THINGS AT ONCE!
